| You were raised in the guild. Your parents shipped you off at an early |
| age and you've been a student there ever since. Wether or not you are  |
| a student right this instant, your background affords you some         |
| benefits. You gain five points in Raise-MP and Arcana and Etiquette as |
| well as any one spell offered in the mage job. You also have the       |
| choice between a rod of an element(A rod that does 50 + +check 50      |
| elemental damage of the element of your choice), or an elemental       |
| foci(+1 succ per five rolled for spells of the chosen element).        |
