Longwhisker

The Longwhisker house is a house of minor note. A long line of accomplished craftsman call it home, most of which are related by blood, though the house is known to take in the occasional outside artisan if their passion for their art is true and their product is worthy of rememberance.
The Longwhiskers are, racially, squirrel, though those invited to the family are sometimes not of the same. They are not known for bandying their name for favor or engaging heavily in politics, which may in part explain their low status. Imperial formed and based, the family is loyal to the empire as a whole, though with little reservation about selling their goods to any corner of the known world.
