Kaelyn

A fairly young spirit, if seen in the grand image. A dragon, whom many claim has ascended to Spirit status after her life. What is known about her is sketchy at least, since not many scholars have studied her yet, but those who manage to find her soon learn that she is a maternally minded spirit.
Kaelyn is usually a good-humored spirit, there was a time when Kaelyn would be exuburant in all she did and touched. Those who met her could expect pranks, dances and a good time to be had by all. But as she has matured Kaelyn has settled into her role as protector of the innocent, and though occasionally her fun loving nature may shine through she presents a more serious face to the world in general, realising that those who are truly innocent are hard to come by and those who need her help are most likely to fall by the wayside before she can reach out a helping hand.
She is friends with Carbuncle and will greet any summoner pacting with him with open arms. She will always greet those who enter her realm as long as they do not carry the stain of murder upon their souls, those who have killed in defence of themselves are others are accepted but cold blooded murder will see the visitor ejected from the realm.
She presents herself as a restrained motherly figure, keeping her natural enthusiasm in check, only letting her true nature slip out when she is with those she knows and cares for the most. She may be the lesser of the dragon spirits and she may personally wish to be herself at all times. But the dictates of the spirit court require a certain level of decorum and as the years have passed since she first settled a nest upon the Dragon Mountain she has become more refined, calm and mature about her work and her wish to defend the innocent.
