Archetype, you know the drill

Description: Having long ago sworn off the tree hugging, peaceful, and magic loving ways of their elf kin, the elvaan have turned to the ways of the blade. They are more distinctly muscled, though are otherwise quite easy to mistake for an elf, being very close cousins.

Advantages:

Born of the Blade: All elvaan are trained in the way of the sword. Elvaan enjoy +2 caps in melee.

Strong: Elvaan gain +2 strength, even if over 25.

Cool Headed: Once an Elvaan enters a battle, no magic or affect can force them to leave the battle until they wish to, barring physical subdual or death. Effects that cause panic or lowered morale are resisted twice, with one successful roll shrugging the effect off.

Disadvantages:

Magically Poor: Elvaan must spend 50% more MP in any place MP is used.

Slow: Lacking some of the agility of elves, they suffer -2 dexterity, down to 1.

Rarity: Rare

Homeland: None, though most prefer the noble quarters of cities, where they ply their trade as family knights or mercenaries.
